Legal Notice

1. Note on content

We have created the freely accessible content of this website with the greatest possible care. We naturally provide the statutory warranty for the products and services we advertise. However, we accept no liability for the accuracy or currency of any other content. Obvious errors excepted.

Articles bearing an author's name reflect the opinion of the respective author and not always our own.

Simply accessing this content does not create a contract between you and us. In this respect, there is no intention on our part to be legally bound.

Content loaded in the background from the source cdn.friendzlab.de is an integral part of this website and, like the main domain, is hosted on our own servers. By distributing the content across different domains, we ensure greater availability and faster loading times. These are therefore not external links.

2. User content

In our web app, users post their own content, such as recipes, choreographies, class schedules or notes. Some of this is also visible without logging in, for example an instructor's profile or a shared calendar. The respective users are responsible for this content. We do not check it in advance. If we become aware of illegal content, we will remove it or block access to it without undue delay. Whoever posted the content will be informed by us of what we have done and why.

Reporting illegal content

Anyone can report illegal content to us, even without an account. To do so, send us an email at hey@friendzlab.de. So that we can act quickly, we need the following from you:

  • where the content is located, ideally as a link,
  • why you believe the content is illegal,
  • your name and your email address,
  • your statement that you are convinced in good faith that the information you have provided is accurate and complete.

If the content depicts child sexual abuse, you may report it without giving your name and email address.

We will confirm receipt to you. Every report is reviewed by a human; we do not use any automated tools for this. We will decide promptly, carefully and objectively and let you know the outcome. If you disagree with our decision, write to us and we will review it again. You can also take legal action or lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator, which in Germany is the Bundesnetzagentur (Federal Network Agency).

Single point of contact

You can reach our single point of contact under Art. 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) for authorities, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services and users at hey@friendzlab.de. You will find our telephone number and postal address in the Imprint. You can write to us in German, English or Spanish.

3. External links

This website contains links to third-party websites ("external links"). The respective operators are liable for these websites. When we set the links, we checked the third-party content for legal violations. No violations were apparent at that time. We have no influence on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. By setting a link, we do not adopt the content behind it as our own.

Without concrete indications of a legal violation, it is not reasonable for us to monitor external links constantly. If we become aware of a legal violation, we will remove the link without undue delay. If you notice a legal violation on a linked page, we would be grateful if you let us know by email at hey@friendzlab.de.

4. Copyright and ancillary copyright

Our own content on this website is subject to German copyright and ancillary copyright law. Any use not expressly permitted by copyright and ancillary copyright law requires the prior written consent of us or of the respective rights holder. This applies in particular to the reproduction, editing, translation, storage, processing and rendering of content in databases or other electronic media and systems. Third-party content and rights are marked as such. Content posted by users belongs to the respective users.

Anyone who reproduces or passes on individual content or entire pages without permission may be committing a criminal offence. Copies and downloads for personal, private and non-commercial use are permitted.

Displaying this website in third-party frames is only permitted with written permission.

5. Objection to advertising use

We hereby expressly object to the use by third parties of our contact details published in accordance with Section 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG) for advertising not expressly requested, information material or any other unwanted contact. This applies to all channels of communication, e.g. email, telephone, post, fax, social media and messaging services.

This objection also applies to all contact details that we publish elsewhere on this website. Our contact details may only be used for the purpose described in each case.

In the event of unsolicited advertising, we reserve the right to take legal action, in particular claims for injunctive relief (Sections 823, 1004 of the German Civil Code, BGB) and damages (Art. 82 GDPR).

6. Special terms of use

Where special terms for individual uses of this website deviate from the sections above, we will expressly point this out at the relevant place. In such individual cases, the special terms of use shall apply.

7. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

8. Language and governing law

The German-language version is legally binding. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. With regard to consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
